APRIL FOOL: YOUTUBE CLOSING DOWN

"We are so close to the end. Tonight at midnight, youtube.com will no longer be accepting entries. After eight amazing years, it is finally time to review everything that has been uploaded to our site and begin the process of selecting a winner,"that was a statement by Tim Liston a staff at youtube who was designated competition director.

Of course that was an elaborate April fool's prank from the folks at Google. Imagine YouTube gone! That will be an horror to the online community. Surely if it was real there would have been a scramble to download as many videos as possible before shutdown that will definitely lead to a crash.

What would have been your reaction if this were to be real? Please we'll be glad to have your comments.
