RETRO: THE FIRST LAPTOP

Can you believe that the image on the left is the first laptop ever made? It is called the Osborne 1 by the Osborne Computer Corporation and released in 1981. It is considered the first portable computer.

It has a small 5'' screen with two floppy drives on each side of the screen. From the picture one can see that it folds and when folded it looks like one of these modern day sawing machines when packed.

Technology has really gone a long way and continues to evolve every day. Imagine carrying this on your lap? You will scream pains under no time.

What can you say about the developmental strides so far as it comes to PC?
