Blood Politic: Just 1 week after Taraba speaker died, his deputy escape assassination

Hardly a week after the death of Speaker of Taraba State House of Assembly Haruna Tsokwa under circumstance that is however generating different understandings in their state, his deputy Adamu Tanko Maikarfi in addition has escaped being killed by as yet not known assassins who trailed him to a particular area in Jalingo. Maikarfi who seemed courageous said,

“It is correct that they got plans to destroy me within my brother's home. They got tips that I was there; when they came they did not meet me, they searched all the areas holding every one at gunpoint. Lord stored me and I thank Lord, they did not also eliminate anybody in the house. Just the wife was traumatized because they took round the home trying to find me.”

He added that the safety agencies in their state are conscious of the progress, and he will continue steadily to stand by the truth and won't bow to any force to compromise. (SaharaReporters)
