Getting Mail Lists - WARNING: Do NOT Buy Dirty Nigerian Mail Lists!

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 12 November 2013 0 komentar

A dirty email list can be a Nigerian email list that's NOT had the duplicate and undeliverable email addresses deleted as a result and more to the point -- it contains plenty of email addresses of individuals who do NOT want to receive solicitations.

More is NOT always better! A person looking to purchase a Nigeria email list may find the exact same Nigerian email list on the market on different websites. If the purchase price is the exact same, they'll usually choose the list with records. That's not at all times the most effective decision. A Nigeria email list that's not been cleaned may contain doubly many email addresses as a cleaned list but both lists probably contain the exact same amount of good email addresses. Emailing a dirty Nigeria email list not merely wastes your time but more to the point it will run you a fortune! Here's how...

1) When an email provider like Yahoo for instance starts receiving too many undeliverable emails from your own IP address they'll delay the delivery of ALL emails coming from your IP address. If you are sending emails from the server, the mail server will attempt to resend the emails which were delayed for a number of days and that will cause your mailing campaign to take several days to finish. If you are sending emails from the shared server then a emails stuck in the mail queue will count toward your sending limit and whenever your sending limit has been reached -- you won't manage to send anymore emails for awhile. When you yourself have to hold back then people aren't receiving your offers and therefore; you are NOT making sales -- so it's costing you money along with wasting your time.

2) If you continue steadily to send to -- too many bad email addresses at Yahoo, for instance -- they'll block ALL emails coming from your IP address. If you are on a shared server, other users won't manage to send emails to Yahoo and they'll complain and your service is likely to be terminated! That could cause you a myriad of problems. It could happen in the middle of an email campaign or you may lose data or both! If you are sending emails from your own personal server then may very well not lose your server your IP is likely to be blocked. Once your IP is blocked by a major domain like gmail.com or yahoo.com then it is more profitable to go on to another server. No matter whether you'd a shared server or your own personal server -- you will need to get another server and install the email software again and complete other tasks before you can start an email campaign.

3) If a Nigerian email list contains plenty of those who do not want to receive solicitations your webhost will receive a lot complaints. Then they'll terminate your service. It won't matter when you yourself have a shared server, VPS or dedicated server. An inventory with complainers inside it is similar to rat poison. Rat poison contains 95% good food. It is one other 5% that will kill you.

As it pertains to emailing dirty lists I have discovered the hard way. Sometimes a poor experience is the better teacher and I experienced plenty of bad experiences with dirty Nigeria email lists. In my opinion a dirty Nigeria email list is really as worthless as tits on a boar hog! List brokers should need certainly to PAY YOU to have a dirty Nigeria email list since emailing a dirty list wastes your time and money. I really hope you will pay attention to my warning about dirty Nigeria email lists.

I sell clean lists. The lists I sell are called by various names: bloggers lists, gifting lists, genealogy lists, Nigeria email lists for marketing, MLM leads, gifting leads, genealogy leads, MLM databases, network marketing leads, home-based business leads, biz-opp lists, biz-opps leads and whatever. Regardless, of what you call them, if you are looking to purchase Nigerian email lists of individuals who answer offers about Making Money Online, you then need to attend my website and start to see the lists I've for sale.

Most of the lists I sell have been cleaned. I removed the duplicate email addresses and then I emailed the lists and removed the undeliverables and the people who requested to be removed. Do you know of some other list brokers who do that? Should you choose, i'd like to know. I would be thinking about buying their lists!

PHOTOS: Nigerian escapes death after After Falling 10 Storeys

Posted by Unknown Sabtu, 09 November 2013 0 komentar

In a crowded city, Asher Vongtau of Nigerian descent was completely alone, trapped in a space barely wider than a shoe box after plummeting perhaps 30 metres into the tiny crevice between two buildings in Manhattan.  His skull was fractured, one arm was broken   and he had a collapsed lung. But he was alive. Still, as day turned to night and back to day again, there was one urgent question: Would help arrive in time?
Continue
Not only had Vongtau, a 19-year-old New York University sophomore, survived the fall, but he had been trapped for nearly 36 hours.

“It is a testament to the kid’s will that he is alive,” he said. “I don’t know how he lasted.”

There was much that remained unexplained on Monday about how Vongtau became trapped, including exactly where he was when he fell.

Fire officials said that given how tightly he was wedged into the space – positioned on his left side just above the ground, unable to twist in any direction in a space about 30 centimetres wide – and the layout of the buildings, it was possible he fell from the roof of the 18-story dormitory.

The gap between the two buildings is wider on the higher floors, but the last six metres or so of space is quite narrow because of a setback. That lack of space might have helped slow his fall, officials said.

There is also an old fire escape on the building next to the dorm as well as an unused fire escape attached to the dorm, and officials said it was possible he could have fallen from one of those as well, in which case he might have fallen a shorter distance.

Vongtau was awake on Monday and talking to friends and family members, but it was unclear whether he was able to recall the details of what happened.

The weekend started like a typical one for a college student, with a night of partying Friday. After going out, Vongtau went to the 10th-floor dorm room that another student, Michael Yablon, shared with three roommates.

Yablon, Vongtau and another friend were still awake when the sun came up. At around 7 am, Vongtau left the room “to get some fresh air,” Yablon said.

Soon after Vongtau walked out the door, someone pulled a fire alarm, waking up residents and causing a brief period of chaos.

By the time it was clear that it was a false alarm, Vongtau had disappeared.

At first, his friends thought he must have gone to his dorm room in nearby Alumni Hall to get some sleep. But on Saturday afternoon, they started to worry.

Yablon said that Vongtau, who was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States when he was 12, always returned messages. When his friends were unable to contact him, they were convinced that something was terribly wrong.

Saturday night they alerted campus security and, later, called the New York Police Department.

Yablon on Monday said he did not think the university treated his concerns with enough urgency. But university officials said they did all they could with the information available.

By Sunday morning, the university’s security officers had contacted nearby hospital emergency rooms and checked to see whether Vongtau’s student identification card had been used to enter any university buildings. His friends began a frantic search, on foot and online. They even reached out to his 13-year-old sister on Facebook, hoping his family might have heard from him.

It was all to no avail.

Then, on Sunday evening, Yablon said, someone got in touch with the friends about a stray pair of grey high-top sneakers discovered in a hallway on the seventh floor of the dorm.

Yablon said they quickly realised the shoes belonged to Vongtau and once again contacted campus security.

John Beckman, an NYU spokesman, said the initial reports indicated that Vongtau left the dorm on Saturday, but with the discovery of the shoes, attention was focused on the building itself.

A security officer checked areas usually off limits to students, including the roof, Beckman said. Students are warned that going on the roof can result in their being kicked out of the dorm. Nothing was found on the roof, Beckman said.  About 5 pm, a security officer checked the area around the bottom of the fire escapes and found Vongtau’s phone. He also heard what sounded like a soft moan, Beckman said.  At 5:11 pm, Blatus arrived on the scene.

From the fire escape of the adjacent building, firefighters could see where Vongtau was located and they quickly determined that the safest way to get to him was through the wall of the garage.

“It was a painstaking process,” Blatus said.

They cut through two layers of cinder blocks, being careful not to cause structural damage to the building or further harm to Vongtau.   It was also critical to get him medical treatment.

Doug Isaacs, the medical director for the Fire Department, said one of the biggest risks in such a rescue was “smiling death,” when a victim initially seems fine when he is removed but soon dies because of internal wounds.

Even as firefighters were opening up the wall, Isaacs was working to give Vongtau medication and assess his condition. Although Vongtau was conscious, he was not coherent. Still, Isaacs said that he came to understand that he had fallen at least 10 stories.   By 7 pm, Isaacs was escorting Vongtau to Bellevue Hospital Centre.

After 36 hours of being trapped, Vongtau was saved by the decisions that emergency responders made in minutes, something he seemed aware of when Isaacs visited him in the hospital on Monday.

“We bring good medicine to bad places,” Isaacs said. “He told his mother that he compared us to the Navy SEALS, very efficient in what we did.”

Nigerian FG grants citizenship to 174 foreigners

Posted by Unknown Rabu, 06 November 2013 0 komentar

The Federal Government, Wednesday, granted Nigerian citizenship to 174 foreigners.

Briefing journalists after the weekly meeting of the Executive Council of the Federation, FEC, chaired by President Goodluck Jonathan, the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, said a breakdown of the applications submitted included those from 45 foreigners married to Nigerians, and 129 from persons that were born by naturalised Nigerians.

Mr. Moro said another 27 applications were rejected and were not approved by FEC because “they did not meet the basic requirements of tax payment and ability to live their lives in Nigeria without being economic burdens and security problems.

“A series of factors were taken into consideration, but much more importantly the issue of security that has become very serious consideration especially when foreigners from countries that are prone to violence, such as Lebanon and Syria, apply to become Nigerian citizens,” the minister said.
The minister also criticised Nigerians who were losing faith in the country.

“We are in this country losing some level of faith in the viability of Nigeria, on the brightness of the future of Nigeria given the level of potential that we have in this country today, by some Nigerians and cynics, especially opposition political parties or persons creating an impression that Nigeria is gravitating towards a failed state.
“Yet we have foreigners who have very serious economic interest in Nigeria who have lived in this country, some since independence, who are eager to become Nigerian citizens by taking into consideration the economic viability and potential of Nigeria and hoping that their lives can better be lived in this country as Nigerian citizens than citizens of their countries,” he said.

Nigerian Banks to identify customers by fingerprints next year

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 05 November 2013 0 komentar
The Central Bank of Nigeria and the Bankers Committee on Tuesday sealed a biometric solution pact with a German Firm, Dermalog, for the development of a payment system that would be driven by fingerprints.
The move, according to the Governor, CBN, Mr. Lamido Sanusi, will help to revolutionise the country’s payment system.

For instance, unlike the current practice where different instruments are used as means of identification, bank customers will from 2014 be identified through their fingerprints.
Sanusi, while speaking at the signing of the agreement, which was held at the central bank’s headquarters in Abuja, noted that the system would become operational on February 14, 2014.
The move followed the recommendation of a sub-committee chaired by the Group Managing Director, Zenith Bank Plc, Mr. Godwin Emefiele.
The committee, made up of the Group Managing Directors of Access Bank Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Limited, United Bank for Africa Plc, Union Bank of Nigeria Plc and Skye Bank Plc, had shortlisted Dermalog as the company to develop a database for the banking sector.
Emefiele said, “The company that was awarded the contract has been given a very ambitious deadline, and before the contract was awarded, it agreed that it would deliver in 90 days.“The first phase of the project will connect the central data to the banks as well as the central bank and the Nigeria Interbank Settlement System. We believe that the company will do so, and by February 14, 2014, we are all very optimistic and looking forward for a gift from the banking industry.
“The cost of the project is above $50m and the banks, in their wisdom and in line with their collaborative efforts, are going to be sharing the cost of the project, and no customer is going to be charged for this project.”

Explaining the reason for the project, Sanusi said it would help to provide a single biometric database that would serve the purpose of authentication as well as address the issues of money laundering, fraud, credit extension and financial inclusion.
He said,
“The vision is that this will go beyond the banks and it is a very tight deadline that I have set for the committee and the committee has discussed with Dermalog; and in three months, we can officially say that every single Nigerian bank is connected to the system; and hopefully in the coming months, we will expect every customer of every branch of every bank in Nigeria to have complied to this, but it goes beyond the banking system.
“We have about a thousand microfinance banks; we have customers of pension fund administrators; we have customers of insurance companies; we have people who deal with the stock market, and the vision for this is that everyone that deals with the financial system should have his biometric data captured, and this will be used for identification, verification and authentication.”

Sanusi said the project would not have any negative impact on the national identity card project, adding that the biometric database of the banking sector would help to complement the Federal Government’s identity management project.
He said, “For a long time, we have been waiting for the national identity card system and progress is being made, and I will like to use this opportunity to let everybody understand that the banking industry project is not in any way incompatible with the national identity process.”

‘US spies on Nigerian security agencies’

Posted by Unknown Minggu, 03 November 2013 0 komentar
Indications emerged on Saturday that the United States has been spying on the Nigeria’s security agencies, especially the State Security Service, and probably the Presidency.

In a report published in New York Times, Edward Snowden, an American computer specialist, who worked for the US Central Intelligence Agency and as a contractor with the US National Security Agency, stated that Nigeria’s SSS was one of the security agencies across the globe that the N.S.A. had been listening in on.
He said briefs on the information gleaned from intercepting of telephone conversations and hacking of computers of the SSS, other security agencies in Nigeria and other countries are delivered to the office of the US President, Barrack Obama every morning.

“By many accounts, the agency provides more than half of the intelligence nuggets delivered to the White House early each morning in the President’s Daily Brief — a measure of success for American spies. One document boasts that listening in on Nigerian State Security Service had provided items for the briefing “nearly two dozen” times. In every international crisis, American policy makers look to the N.S.A. for inside information,” Snowden told New York Times.
The release of documents that proved that the NSA had been eavesdropping on the communications of world leaders, including US allies, had caused diplomatic rows, with Germany and some other countries protesting.

Snowden also noted that the NSA had obtained thousands of classified documents, containing secrets of governments around the world, pointing to a possibility that it might have obtained secret documents of the Federal Government of Nigeria, or tapped President Goodluck Jonathan’s phone conversations.

Snowden, who is on a temporary political asylum in Russia, disclosed classified details of several top-secret United States, Israeli, and British government mass surveillance programmes to the press.

He started releasing the NSA’s documents in June and the documents he has released so far show that the US has been spying most countries in the world.
